The Program

Creative Community Concepts Rural Active Recreation Program aims to assist children in rural and remote communities to have access to Active Recreation opportunities.

This Program is delivered in partnership with each community in a structured program that will engage young people and adults alike in the events. We provide training and resources to community members, so they are able to conduct activities with the support of CCC staff and our online session plans.

8-week Program

There are 8 sessions which make up this program. Each session incorporates activities based on Rugby League Skills, Athletics Skills, and Life Skills. Delivered over an 8 week timetable this program builds community capacity and physical activity empowerment outcomes.

Training & Resources

Access to online website resources that include instruction videos on how to conduct each activity is provided. Equipment is provided to either mentors, youth leaders, or teachers which gives them the capacity to deliver activities at a time convenient for them if it does not align with CCC staff availability. All participants receive some equipment to utilise during the session and ongoing.
